The Revinate Scorecard provides key metrics, allowing you to track your success over time and compare your performance with your competitors. To access the Revinate Scorecard, click on “Revinate Scorecard” in the left-hand navigation within the “Reports” tab.
There are two reports you can generate: the Performance Trend report as well as the Competitive Benchmark report.
The Performance Trend displays the historical comparison of how your property is performing across all key performance metrics for any specified time period.
The Competitive Benchmark, similar to the revenue report, allows you to see how your property indexes against your compset average.
Below we define some terms used within the Revinate Scorecard:
Key Metrics
Overall Review Rating: Indicates your average review rating across all review sites for the given time period. Most review sites use a 1-5 star scale for overall review ratings. If a site uses a different scale, Revinate normalizes the ratings into the standard 1-5 scale.
Positive Reviews: Includes positive reviews that have a 4.0 overall star rating or higher. The Positive Reviews % is the percentage of reviews that have a 4.0 or higher rating.
Reviews Pace: Provides the number of reviews your property has received per week.
TripAdvisor Popularity Index: Indicates your TripAdvisor Popularity Index Ranking for the given time period as well as any change in ranking. Please note, this is a metric calculated and determined by TripAdvisor.
Review Response Coverage
Review Response Coverage: Denotes the percentage of reviews that were marked “Responded To” or “Response Posted” within Revinate. Note, review counts only include reviews from sites that permit public management response.
Review Response Count (Responses): Indicates the number of reviews that were marked either “Responded To” or “Response Posted” within Revinate.
- Response Posted: This only includes the responses that were posted live to the review site and we reflect them within your Revinate account.
- Responded To: Indicates you submitted public management response and clicked on the green “Confirm” button located on the Revinate Response Assistant.
Social Media Engagement
- Updates/week: The number of status updates you’ve published to your page per week.
- Facebook Fans: The number of unique people who like your page.
- Updates/week: The number of tweets you’ve tweeted per week.
- Followers: The number of Twitter users following you on Twitter.
- Following: The number of Twitter users you’re following on Twitter.
Review Rating Details
Some sites, such as TripAdvisor, allow reviewers to include category ratings with reviews. Revinate normalizes these category ratings from across the sub-set of sites that include them.
Recommended By: Indicates the percentage of reviews where reviewers recommended your property.
Cleanliness Rating: Indicates the average cleanliness rating of the review sites that enable reviewers to provide a cleanliness rating.
Location Rating: Indicates the average location rating of the review sites that allow reviewers to rate the location of your property.
Rooms Rating: Indicates the average rooms rating of review sites that allow reviewers to rate your rooms.
Service Rating: Indicates the average service rating of the review sites that permit reviewers to rate your service.
Value Rating: Indicates the average value rating of review sites that allow users to provide a value rating.
