Microsoft Edge
How to Clear Cache on Edge
Click the three-dot menu button in the top right corner of Edge and click “Settings.”
In settings, click “Privacy, Search, and Services.”
in the Clear Browsing Data section, click “Choose What to Clear.”
The Clear Browsing Data box will open and you will see a list of items that you can remove from your browser.
First, click the “Time Range” drop-down menu and choose the time period for which you want to clear the cache. Then, enable the “Cached Images and Files” option. You can choose other options if you want to clear other types of browsing data in addition to the cache.
Lastly, at the bottom of the box, click “Clear Now.”
Edge will clear your cache and any other selected items immediately.
Firefox
Clearing Firefox cache is also very simple, you may do so by going to the Firefox menu and selecting the link titled “Preferences”. From here a new window will populate, select the tab labeled “Advanced” and go to “Cached Web Content” and click the directive titled “Clear Now”.
Google Chrome
The cache within a Google Chrome browser can be cleared by going to your settings menu, an icon typically in the upper right hand corner of your browser window represented by 3 horizontal lines. From this drop down menu select the link titled “History”.
A listing of all your web browser recent activity will populate, click on the button titled “Clear browsing data”.
From here a final popup window will incur that will allow you to clear cache and other browser functionalities.
Safari
The first step to clearing your cache in Safari is to add your “Develop” drop down menu to your tool bar. You may do so by going to your clicking on the Safari section within your tool bar, then clicking on Preferences. A new pop up window will incur, click on advanced, this is where you can select to add the develop menu to your tool bar.
Once you have added the develop menu, you will see the option to “Empty Cache” within this drop down menu.
