You can access survey comment data two ways. You can view and schedule a comment report or create a Survey alert.
Exporting a Comment Report
The comment report can be found under the Report Section of the Surveys platform and allows the hotelier to view the results for any open-ended questions asked on the survey.
Navigate to Survey reports
From your dashboard, click on Reports and then on Surveys in the dropdown menu.
Select the comment report
You can filter by:
- questions to see specific responses on the survey
- survey, in case you are using more than one
- guest segment
- and NPS score.
You will have access to "view the survey" of the guest directly from the comment and create a ticket or save the survey in the “Saved” folder.
Export the report
You can export the comments report to a CSV (Clock icon) or pdf file (pdf icon) by clicking on the export buttons located at the top right of the page.
If you select PDF, a PDF will immediately download to your computer
If you choose CSV, a box with options of when you want the report to run will pop up. You can choose to have the report run immediately or schedule the report to send when you want it.
Make sure you are a recipient or add more recipients to the email list, then click submit.
Create a Survey alert for comments
In the top right corner, click the Settings cog and User Settings.
In User Settings, click alerts and then the blue Create Alert button.
In Alert type make sure:
- Survey alert is selected in Alert type
- The any of the criteria is met option is selected
- You have selected comment for which question you want the report to run for.
Then click the blue create Survey Alert button.
