For hotel groups, there are many advantages to our corporate administration for your Revinate Surveys, including aggregated reporting on survey data, property group performance reporting, group administration tools for property level surveys, and the ability to create multiple surveys within a corporate account. For some groups, however, it may be more useful to have the surveys managed at the property level.
This article will help you navigate the main differences between property-level and corporate-level surveys management. For more detail, please refer to our Corporate Survey Management article and our instructional guide on how to create a survey.
|Survey Administration Permissions
|Survey Permissions are managed in the corporate account. If any user needs the ability to edit the survey format, content, and settings, they must first be added as a user on the corporate account.
Survey Permissions are managed in each individual property account. Users do not need access to the corporate account to change survey content and settings.
Easily create all surveys for your group from one Survey Editor that is centralized in the corporate account. The Survey Editor allows you to create new surveys and also clone or copy the format from existing surveys, if necessary. You can create as many different surveys as needed for your group and assign different surveys to different property groups.
Each property has the ability to customize their own survey and questions without affecting the surveys for other properties in the group. The topics and questions are not shared with any other property’s survey.
Create one Invitation Email that is sent for all surveys and all properties. This can be personalized for each property by using the Merge Tags: Property Name, Property Signature, Property URL.
|The Email Center for each property is separate so properties will be able to personalize the email content and delivery schedules just for their hotel.
|Guest List Upload
You have the option of uploading guest list data directly to the corporate account. If you prefer this option, just make sure to include a Hotel ID for each property so that Revinate can distinguish which guests belong to which property. Alternatively, individual properties can import guest lists at the property level.
|Each property is responsible for importing guest list data to their account, either through automatic import with their PMS or through manual uploads.
TripAdvisor Syndication is managed at the corporate level under the page named Publishing Settings. Currently, users can choose to activate publishing for all properties or keep the surveys internal. If you would prefer to only turn on publishing for some hotels within your group, but not all, please contact email@example.com, and let us know which hotels should have this service activated.
|Each hotel can choose whether to turn on TripAdvisor Syndication or keep their surveys internal.
In Translation Settings, you can select which languages to activate for your surveys. The selected languages will appear in the Survey Editor translation bar for all surveys, but the additional languages will only appear on the guest-facing survey if the translations are completed. If you don’t want a certain language to show for a particular survey, simply leave out the translations in the Survey Editor.

|Each property within the corporate group will have the options mentioned to the right. Additionally, users on the corporate account will have access to all of those reports with aggregated data. For example, they will be able to see the roll-up of the results for a particular survey question across their entire corporate group or for particular property groups.
|Each property’s reporting is separate from the rest of the group. Property-level users will have access to Survey Overview, All Surveys, Sentiment Analysis, Guest List, Satisfaction Reports, and Survey Export. Users on the Corporate Account will only have access to All Surveys, Sentiment Analysis, and Survey Export if requested.
