OpenTable recently added functionality where GuestCenter and Connect customers can now publicly or privately respond to diner reviews. Customers with access to GuestCenter Administration are now able to view diner reviews directly from GuestCenter and Connect Web, as well as respond to diner reviews. Responses to these reviews will be between you and the diner only and no contact information will be shared between you.
Keeping in step with these changes, Revinate has also started capturing OpenTable public management responses as well as allowing a response from Revinate. Now, for any OpenTable reviews, you will see a “Reply at OpenTable” button for each OpenTable review within the All Reviews stream. Once the management review is posted live on the OpenTable, the response will be captured and displayed in the All Reviews stream.
Currently, clicking the “Reply at OpenTable” button redirects you to the Restaurant Center, but if requested, we can also redirect to the GuestCenter. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request this change.
As of January 1, 2019, OpenTable management responses will be included in response metrics within Revinate. You will be able to track your responses to your reviews through the Response Report as well as through custom reports and GS2 reports.
