Permission: Only administrators of the accounts are able to change their competitive sets. If you do not have administrator permissions for your account, or you wish to change competitor set on a restaurant account, you can reach out to email@example.com for assistance.
Revinate Reputation users at the property level can change their competitor set directly from within the application.
In order to do this, click on "Settings" in the top-right corner and select 'Competitor Set':
From here, you will be able to see your current competitive set as well as add new competitors:
To add a new competitor to your comp set, enter the name of the property as it would appear on TripAdvisor in the text field:
The name of the competitor will populate the text field and you can select the property from the menu. Once the competitor has been selected, you will see the changes within one week.
Underneath the competitor field, you will see how many competitors you can track within your account, how many spots are available to be added to your compset, and and pending requests. If you wish to delete a current competitor to open up a "spot", just select the blue "delete" button next to that competitor.
If the hotel name is not populating in the competitor field, you can do an advanced search. Just select the advanced search option from the drop-down menu.
From the pop-up window that appears, you can then search for the hotel by it's name and address. Once you find the hotel, click the blue "add" button. If you still do not find your desired competitor, please email <firstname.lastname@example.org> for assistance and make sure to send the support team a link to the competitor hotel's TripAdvisor page.
