2. Click on all of the ‘translate’ buttons to start translating the selected language(s).
Here is a checklist to verify you’ve translated each section of the landing page. You’ll need to follow the same process for each language you want to translate:
- Email Content
- Content (located under the banner image)
- Room Upsells (description only here)
- Amenity Upsells
3. Click 'Preview Landing Page' to view the translated landing page by selecting the language.
You are done translating the Upsells Landing page. Nice work!
Hot Tip! Create segments based on languages. We will show you how many reachable guests are in that segment. When you create campaigns in 'other' languages, just make sure to attach the segment targeting guests who speak that language.
FAQ: Upsell language displayed in an email campaign
When creating an email, with Upsells (e.g. Pre-arrival email), the system will use the ‘Campaign locale’ you set in your campaign to display the correct translated Upsells page to your guest.
For example, campaign locale is set to ‘English’ then the ‘English’ landing page will show to your guests.
*If you create a campaign in a different language than your default language, but do not have a translated Upsells page for that language, Revinate Marketing will translate Section titles, price name, and call to action button. Your content, messages, room name, description and amenity name will not be auto translated for you, and will display in your default language. See an example below.
