Question: Why do my images render incorrectly in Internet Explorer?
Internet Explorer is a browser developed by Microsoft. At one time, this browser was the most commonly used in the online space (95% Market Share). Since then, with the increase in competitors and additional enhancements to browser designs, IE has fallen down to a <2% market share.
The source of the issue is the result of IE incorrectly representing an element value. This occurs when no value is defined under the Width section of an image module.
To correct this issue, add a numerical value to the Width section of the email module.
How to Test: The easiest way to test in within your Revinate Account! Under the Preview section, within an email template, you can find various Internet Explorer hosted web clients to confirm a proper rendering.
