Enhanced reporting around upsells revenue allows a group or property to generate greater data on this revenue source. This robust report will allow you to see your total upsells revenue as either a Room Upgrade or Amenity Upsell. This data is helpful for the hotel to understand amenities/room types that are performing well, and opportunities to tweak the existing offerings based on performance metrics. The data displayed in your Upsells reports are based on post-check-out revenue.

Upsells reporting is available from your top navigation menu under Reports.
This reports may also be filtered and exported to CSV by selecting the drop-down menu to choose a date range and clicking on the blue button labeled EXPORT TO CSV in the top right of the page.
In the drop-down filter to select the date ranges for the report please note that the filter for ‘This Year’ will display and include future or pending upsells requests.
The trend lines on your Upsells Reports will display the revenue details for the time periods you hover over. The lines or sections may also be selected or deselected to display or not display the corresponding line and data. This feature is especially useful in Room Upsells and Amenity Upsells reports which may display many data points at once. The ability to select or de-select allows for ease of use and readability.
Room and Amenities Statistics
Room Upsells and Amenity Upsells have more detailed and interactive reports containing a graph trend line and a table breaking down the Upsells requests from guests as well as the individual Upsells attributed revenue.
These tables will have the following sections:
- Request Count
- The number of times the Upsells room was requested
- Approved Requests
- Count for the number of individual guest requests made
- Pending Requests
- The number of requests that are still pending in the upsells management page and awaiting a response
- Declined Requests
- The number count of guest requests declined
- # of Nights
- The number of nights that the upgrade was requested for in total
- Approved Revenue
- This is the revenue total for all approved requests
The Room Upsells report will display the revenue attributed by the date of check out for approved Upsells. As with all the reports the lines or room sections may be selected or deselected to display or not display the corresponding line and data. For Room Upsells you will see displayed the different rooms available for Upsells and under each of these will be the data for the rooms that guests upgraded from. Below the graph will be a table with a more detailed breakdown of the revenue numbers for each individual amenity selection.
The Amenity Upsells section of the Upsells Report will show a breakdown of all amenities that have been set up on your Revinate Upsells page. For information on Setting up Upsells Amenities see our Help Desk article here.
The revenue attributed to an Amenity Upsells is attributed by date of check out for approved Upsells. For your Amenities report, you will see displayed a trend line on a graph with each amenity displaying its own colored line. You may select or deselect an amenity to see it displayed in this visual report. Hovering over a specific time period on the graph will show the detail of revenue numbers for each amenity for the selected time period in a display box.
Below the graph will be a table with a more detailed breakdown of the revenue numbers for each individual amenity selection.
Remember that these reports can be exported as a CSV file for your records and reporting convenience.
