Badges are a good way to create notes in a guests Rich Guest Profile which can then be used to segment on a property level. A front desk user can add a badge to any user and the badge will stay on the profile for any user on that account to view.
At the property level targeted email marketing can be achieved with segmentation based on badges.
To add badges select a guest from your database whose profile you wish to edit.
In their rich guest profile go to the STATUS section and select the + icon next to badges.
From here you may add as many badges as you like for reference and segmentation at the property level.
Segmenting by badges is not available at the group level, email campaigns can use segmentation through badging at the property level only.
