Auto UTM Tracking
Marketing Pro customers who are using the new campaign composer now have an option to enable "Auto UTM" on campaigns. This feature will automatically add UTM parameters to the url links in your marketing email campaign. This allows you to attribute and track what customers who click on a link from the email campaign do across your website using a web analytics tool like Google Analytics.

Group Contact List API
Guests signing up to newsletters on group websites now have the ability to easily opt-in to specific properties. Guests who have opted in at the group level to receive information about specific guest-selected hotels within the group will be added to a contact list that is automatically created at the property level. This allows properties within the group to receive guests into a contact list - and thus market to them - that they otherwise would not have known were interested in their property. Our new One-to-One Communication feature allows you to create and send completely customized touchpoints to your guests while ensuring brand consistency and campaign tracking.
Use this feature to:
Send a one-time promotional code to a specific guest
Send confirmation emails to VIP guests
Customize upsells for specific guests
Send emergency communications and/or other physical updates
Send a pre-booking email
Send an email alerting a guest that they’ve left something in their room
Send personalized messages to high touchpoint guests from the GM
Send any other type of individual and personalized communication to your guests

Campaigns - Additional Options
In the Additional Options section of the Segment step of the campaign flow, the wording has been updated from “opened or never received” in the first drop-down menu to “opened or not received.” Those values have been time-boxed those to the time period selected in the next drop down menu of that option. This means if you select “opened or not received” and “two weeks”, it will look for profiles in that segment who have either opened a campaign in the past two weeks, or who have not been sent a campaign in the past two weeks. If they were sent a campaign three weeks ago, they will be included. If they were sent a campaign in the past two weeks (and did not open or click), they will be excluded. This allows you to target a significantly larger audience of potentially engaged guests.

Segmenting by User Defined Fields
Segments can now be created based off of the individual values in a comma separated list of User Defined Fields from Contact Lists - this means you can create and segment on a value like “champagne” and return profiles who have the values “champagne” or “champagne, France” or “champagne, flowers” - saving you a lot of time to find people who bought champagne, rather than clicking every champagne value in the dropdown.

Upsells pricing by Day of the Week
You can now set “special prices” for certain days of the week. This allows you the ability to maximize upsells revenue by pricing in demand inventory higher/lower depending on demand for a given set of days. Charge more for room upgrades on weekdays if you’re a city center property, or more for flowers on weekends if it costs more for vendors to deliver. It is completely flexible and up to you how they're charged. We always err on the side of generating you more revenue - so will average out Upsells pricing for shoulder bookings, or charge the special pricing for things that are priced one off or per person.

Phone Numbers in the Rich Guest Profile

Drip Campaigns with Qualifications
This feature will allow you to build out a true nurture program. Guests will be automatically entered into drip campaigns once they reach the specific qualifications (number of stays, days since last stay, etc.) that you set.

Contact List User Defined Field
Through .csv upload or API, users can create custom defined fields for their contact lists which can be used for segmentation or used as merge tags when creating a campaign. Read more to find out how you can use it to collect more data about your guests.
You can now exclude future stays by email address with a checkbox within the campaign flow which ensures promotions will be sent only to people who don't have future reservations.
Image Library Aspect Ratio
Hovering over an image in the Image Library will reveal the aspect ratio and exact pixel dimensions, which will help you choose the right image to go in your campaign.
