Class is a categorization of brand-affiliated and independent hotels. The class for a brand-affiliated hotel is the same as its Chain Scale. Independent hotels are assigned a class based on average daily rate, relative to the brand or chain hotels in their geographic proximity.
Class segments used by Revinate are: Luxury, Deluxe, Upscale, Midscale, Budget and Economy. Here are a few industry definitions and criteria describing the different class segments
