When adding Room and Amenity Upsells to your Revinate Marketing Account you can now adjust pricing by the day of the week. We recognize that there may be days of the week with higher and lower demand, this feature allows you to drive incremental revenue for your property.
To set up day of week pricing, simply navigate to the Upsell Settings page.
Either edit existing upsells or create a new item by selecting the appropriate button to the right of the screen.
If you scroll to the bottom of the pop-up to the pricing section and then to the right of that section, you will now see the option to add a special price for day of week and select the days of the week that price should apply to. Be sure to click save once you have made changes.
Please note that if the guest is staying over nights that fall under the original upsell price and the special price for certain days of the week the guest will still see one price listed on the upsell landing page. Revinate will calculate the right price to show them based on the upsell type.
- For upsells charged on a Per Night and Per Person Per Night basis, Revinate uses the average (mean) of the total upsell cost divided by the number of nights booked.
- For upsells charged on a Per Stay and Per Person basis, if the reservation falls across a period where the special price and the non-special price is active, we use the special price.
