This article will walk you through how to property link Toll-Free Numbers (TFN) from Reservation Sales in your Revinate Marketing Campaigns.
First, we will create our Campaign.
From your Dashboard, navigate to Campaigns → All Campaigns
On the Campaigns page, click Create Campaign in the top right corner.
Select your Campaign type.
Setting Up Your Campaign
- Name your campaign
- Toggle ‘LINK TO RESERVATION SALES CAMPAIGN’ to ON,
- Select the correct Toll Free Number you have set up in Reservation Sales
*For Multi Property Accounts: if the number you created is not showing up, ensure that you have assigned it to the correct market in Reservation Sales’

To have your Toll Free Number as a CTA Button, highlight the text in the button, on the right side of Template Composer, you will see the ‘Action’ section.
Click the drop-down arrow, then select Toll-Free Number. Since we linked the TFN when we set up the campaign, the merge tag will link to the TFN.

Click into the text box and highlight the Merge Tag, then click the ‘hyperlink’ icon.
The Insert/Edit link pop-up shows, click the drop-down arrow and select “Toll-Free Number” then click save.
This is what your text will look like after linking the TFN via Merge Tag, be sure to edit your text to be consistent with your campaign.
Hard Coding Toll-Free Numbers
Sometimes customers prefer to hard code (type in) the Toll-Free Number into the text of the campaign, and not use a merge tag. You will need to link the text to the Toll-Free Number.
Find the phone number in the text and highlight it, then click the ‘hyperlink’ icon.
Next, we will need to select the action type. You have two options. You can select ‘Call Phone Number’ or “Toll Free Number’
If you select Call Phone Number - you must ensure you have the correct toll free number created in Reservation Sales, linked in email settings, and typed into the email and action type field. If you do not have a TFN linked from the beginning of creating your campaign, you must select the action type as 'Call Phone Number'.
Selecting Toll-Free Number, will link to the TFN from the settings page. It is best practice to select ‘Toll-Free Number’
Your TFNs are now successfully linked to your Campaign.
Make any other edits in the Composer as necessary, and finish creating your campaign by clicking next, and continuing the rest of the process of previewing, selecting your segment, and scheduling.
