If a guest who is not checked into Ivy sends a message, they will appear in the visitor section. Visitors often occur when a guest gets Ivy’s number from a friend, in-room collateral, or signage around your hotel.
Moving guests from ‘Visitor’ over to ‘Checked In’ is simple! To start, select the ‘Visitor’ option from the dropdown menu above the guest list.
Next, select the guest you’d like to verify. Then, open the Three Dot menu in the top right hand side of the screen. Select the “Edit Visit” option.
Once you’re in the “Edit Visit” screen, fill out the information about the guest’s stay, then click the “Save Visit” button. The guest will then move into the “Scheduled” or “Checked in” section along with your other guests.
